Do You Still Know How To Feel? To Think? To Imagine?
Do You Still Know How To Feel? Like How Do You Feel…
Witnessing people gather together from all walks of life; Socio-economical, racial, educated & non. They gather; No Agenda, just show up and in so doing they support each other, they acknowledge there is a problem! By supporting each other they are validating the point, we have problems and we are in trouble. Most importantly, those supposed to represent us, serve us, have lost touch with reality and have no connection to those they serve. By rightfully gathering, peacefully, they question, and debate and seek out others ideas, thoughts, and solutions, meeting in general councils to come up with better solutions, everyone is heard, everyone gets a say and a vote.
Do You Still Know How to Feel? Like How Do You Feel…
When hearing our politicos speaking out about people’s rights to protest, to be given freedom of speech, to have the opportunity to enjoy liberty, to have democracy. They go on and on telling other countries leaders how to allow their people their rights. They do this loudly made possible by our bought & paid lame stream media constantly inundating our psyche with what they are told to put in front of us, keeping us confused and sidetracked with little issues. How do you feel when it dawns on you our politicians are talking about the Arab Spring, talking about other people’s rights; without blinking an eye or giving a care for America. Like how do you feel being led by a house and congress full of hypocritical, corporate sponsored career politicians?
Ever wonder why the Founding fathers added strict term limits to every office? Politics were not meant to be a career but rather a service like jury duty. One must question why anyone would spend an exorbitant amount of money to be elected to a service job which pays a mere pittance of a salary in relation to the cost of being elected. Would you pay $10,000-$50,000 to get on jury duty and be paid $20 a day for maybe a week? Would you if the person on trial would give you $500,000 for your not guilty? IF you answered yes to either of those questions, you might have a future in politics. Most of us would have answered NO, the correct answer. How do you feel about your politicians now?
Do You Still Know How to Feel? Like How Do You Feel…
When you see peaceful protestors coming together in search of solutions being attacked, intimidated, pepper-sprayed and tear gassed by an ever evolving and growing armored militarized police force. In America? The land, once of the free, but now protected from terrorist; or is it by terrorist. Ever get the feeling the terrorist are really already winning. Once we were free to travel, now “papers please”. Train stations, bus depots, roaming highway TSA check points, Really? How did this happen?
How do you feel thinking about a time when “…to protect and serve…” was proudly painted on the side of police cars. When a police car looked like a police car? When seeing a police car aroused feelings of safety & Security. Imagine that.
Do You Know How To Think? Like, can you think for yourself…
Can you ask questions? Can you question authority? Can you teach those close to you to think? Critically? Can you think about the Constitution and Bill of Rights? Can you think about how important those documents were in changing our world? From Feudal states to a world of technological advances when left unfettered by government, free to prosper, free to work hard now and relax later.
Do you think the average American adult watching 8 hours of TV daily is a root cause of our apathy and carelessness? Do you think if we had better TV programs we would have a better society?
Do You Know How to Think for Yourself again? To make decisions based on critical thinking, reasoning, on research using all to arrive at the best conclusion for you.
If you are waking up and Feeling and Thinking; what can you do, starting today, to create a better tomorrow? What steps can you take today toward changing our present tense toward a better more satisfying future for all. If you are Feeling and Thinking it may be time to follow some great advice left to us by our last real President of the People. He asked, “…not what our country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” It was a troubled time and that was good advice by a great leader… and WE KILLED him. And let them get away with the greatest coup of all.
Never has our country needed our help more then in present day, for its very survival. We can change it, one just needs to believe, to stand up, to study the Constitution then follow it, to wake up.
Can you still Imagine? Like, can you imagine…
the world we live in to be like the world we imagined when we were growing up. The one we were sold in school, the one where we were free? Where Liberty was just that? Can you imagine that? Imagine when being a Patriot to our country was a good thing? Imagine a patriot was a hero, unlike today when being a patriot labels you as a terrorist and gets you on a no fly list?
Can you still Imagine? Like, can you imagine…
being truly FREE, where our Laws secured our freedoms, not restricted them.
Imagine voting for candidates’ who were honest, picked by we the people. Candidates’ who kept their campaign promises after election, did what they said, who had integrity, honor, and strength; and had the back bone to stay that way.
Imagine free source technology, where fresh new technologies & ideas are shared not hidden; where existing technologies can be successfully harnessed to save us and our habitat. Just imagine, we have the ability to live in a world where every man, woman and child would have access to free clean water, where we could get rid of starvation, famine and disease, for everyone. And we could do it now! We can, just IMAGINE!
Imagine countries without Armies, politicians would be forced to debate and negotiate until a compromise or a solution was made. Imagine not sending our youth to kill each other in the prime of their lives, instead imagine them coming together to rebuild, to share technologies, to create an even balance between third world and first world.
Imagine all the surplus wealth we all would have without supporting a military industrial complex. Imagine not having enemies created by that same complex to keep us constantly at war. Struggling and suffering, why? Imagine what a wonderful world this can be.
IMAGINE… THINK… FEEL…
Put forth effort, selflessly…Do not give up, never quit…
Keep Hope Alive:
FEEL… THINK… IMAGINE!
Be Constructive, not Critical.
Be Supportive not Supported.
Be Open not Closed.
Be Helpful not Helpless.
Be Blameless not Blame worthy.
Be a Survivor not a Victim.
Be a Solution not a Problem,
The Answer not the Question!
Remember: Feel! Think! And Imagine!
